From I91, take Exit 40 to Rt 20 West. After a few miles, take the "Hamilton Road South" exit, then turn left at the bottom of the ramp. At the "T", take a right onto Rainbow Road. Within a mile or so the dirt road entrance to the fish ladder will be on your left.

Take Exit 17 from I-91 South or North (Rt 141) and follow the signs to Rt 141 East toward Holyoke; Stay on Rt 141 bearing right at the 2nd set of lights; Continue of Rt 141 for 6 more lights and at the 6th light, turn left onto Main Street (Rt 116N); Turn left at the fishway sign just before the South Hadley Bridge in Holyoke (Veterans Memorial Bridge). Come visit! The Pittsford National Fish Hatchery is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
The hatchery is located near Rutland, VT. Take a right off Rt. 7 north. Follow signs to Furnace Brook Road.
