Nestled in the Quinault Rainforest, near Humptulips, Washington, Quinault National Fish Hatchery offers an opportunity to learn about salmon and to enjoy the natural wonders of the Olympic Peninsula. The Quinault National Fish Hatchery is a U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service facility located on the Quinault Indian Reservation which is approximately forty-five miles northwest of Aberdeen, Washington (Driving Directions). This hatchery is one of the few fish hatcheries in the pacific northwest rearing four species of fish; Coho salmon, Fall Chinook salmon, Chum salmon, and Winter-run Steelhead .We invite you to visit us for FREE family fun! The hatchery offers an enjoyable experience for people of all ages. Learn about the life history of salmon and discover the intricacies of a fish production facility that rears over 3 million fish!  Feel free to visit the hatchery seven days a week. The hatchery visitor center offers salmon history video, Quinault Indian cultural information, and educational exhibits. Guided tours are available when volunteers are present.
