Feel
free to visit the hatchery during business hours (7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.).
If hatchery volunteers are present guided tours of the facility may be
available. Visit us for FREE family fun!
Self guided tours offer an excellent opportunity to observe hatchery staff
feed fry, spawn adult salmon, or take in the natural beauty of Cook Creek
and the Olympic Rainforest. Deer, bear, elk, and cougar have been sighted
within the hatchery property!
The
hatchery receives over 3,000 visitors each year. Aside from the hatchery
tourists visit Olympic National Park, the U.S. Forest Service visitor center
and the beaches of the Pacific Coast.
The hatchery is an hour driving time to the beaches
as well as the Olympic Mountains.
