Images from Nature: a photographic exhibit by Keith Carver
What: The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is hosting an exhibit by local artist photographer Keith Carver. The exhibit entitled Images from Nature is a selection of Keith's wildlife and nature photos from around the world.
When: The exhibit runs from January 5 to February 29, 2016. The gallery is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday except federal holidays. There is no charge for admission. Adults will be asked to show a photo I.D. to enter the building.
Where: U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Gallery, 300 Westgate Center Drive, Hadley, Mass. The building is located south of the intersection of Route 9 and Route 116 North.
Who: Keith Carver is Professor Emeritus of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Massachusetts. He has photographed birds, mammals and landscapes throughout the Northeast, Canada, Kentucky, Florida, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and Costa Rica. His signature photographs are characterized by movement and light, ranging from the intimate images of birds feeding their young to the Milky Way in the night skies.
