2009 Summer Jobs on Refuges
STEP (Student Temporary Employment Program)

Six summer jobs will be available to college freshmen and sophomores on national wildlife refuges in North Carolina. The Southeast Regional Office has focused on recruiting college/technical school freshmen and sophomores at the GS-3 level (or WG equivalent).

We are compiling information for this site, so please check back frequently for added information. Several refuges have housing available, but we are currently researching the legality of providing free housing to employees and policies that may allow us to charge for the housing.
