Life History: |
|
The Ash Meadows milk-vetch is a low matted perennial forming mounds 40 to 50 cm across and its pinkish to purple flowers are borne on short, erect stems in the mat and commonly number only one or two per inflorescence.. The flowers are about 23 mm long. |

Distribution and Habitat: |
| |
The Ash Meadows milk-vetch occurs only in Nye County, Nevada on dry, hard, white, barren saline, clay flats, knolls, and slopes and in the Amargosa River drainage in extreme southeastern Inyo County, California. |

Threats: |
| |
The loss of habitat by recent agricultural and municipal development activities, the clearing of land for road construction,the removal of ground water and diversion of surface spring flow, and local mining activities threaten the integrity of the species' habitat and,therefore, their survival. |
