Friends and Partners

The Friends of Humboldt Bay NWR and Friends of the Dunes both assist the refuge in innumerable ways, from recruiting volunteers to leading walks and providing environmental education. Please call the refuge for further information.

We also work with Audubon Society, Humboldt State University, The Nature Conservancy, California State Coastal Conservancy, California Waterfowl Association, Ducks Unlimited, Pacific Coast Joint Venture, The Aleutian Goose Working Group, Trout Unlimited, The Fortuna Creeks Project, local schools, communities, ranchers, and others.
