Skylands Astronomy Club co-founder Al Carcich gave a presentation about the moon to a packed room of 32 eager listeners. He explained the theories of the moon's formation, the analysis of its composition, topographic features, and other lesser known and newly discovered facts. The importance of the moon to Earth's tilt, seasons, and tides was also shown in the presentation. Although the weather did not cooperate for the Star Party observation afterwards, the audience was fascinated with the information shared and enjoyed the evening program.
