The Refuge Friends Group, the Muscatatuck Wildlife Society, sponsored the event which featured fishing contests and craft activities, special fishing for youngsters in a pond usually closed to fishing, fishing lessons with equipment provided, door-prizes, and a free lunch. Although the fish weren't biting the weather was great, and over 250 people attended the event.
