Local historian and author Ron Dupont, shared his vast knowledge of the history of Wallkill River Valley through a visual presentation that took the audience back in time. The “Then and Now” photos kept the audience completely engaged. Mr. Dupont shared noteworthy information on well-known sites within the refuge and surrounding community. Nearly 65 participants filled the refuge headquarters, with many guests lining the hall and stairway to catch a glimpse. Refreshments were provided by the Friends of Wallkill River.
