John Stephens, Refuge Forester for Caddo Lake National Wildlife Refuge (NWR), gave a tour for the Northeast Texas Chapter of the Society of American Foresters. Also on hand were Jason Roesner, Refuge Manager and Josh Bardwell, Wildland Firefigher to answer any questions relating to wildlife or prescribed burning on the Refuge. The meeting was very well attended and the Refuge received many positive comments regarding the active habitat management taking place. The Refuge has worked with numerous State Agencies to use the Refuge as a Demonstration Site for the public on habitat management in Northeast Texas.
