Connecting People with Nature - Lower Great Lakes FWCO Participates in Niagara County Field Day

Lower Great Lakes Fish and Wildlife Conservation Office (LGLFWCO) biologist Betsy Trometer participated in the 2013 Niagara County Environmental Education Field Days held at Royalton Ravine Park in Gasport, NY. Betsy demonstrated the collection and identification of aquatic macroinvertebrates, and their use as indicators of water quality. A total of 347 elementary students attended program hosted by the Niagara County Soil & Water Conservation District.
