Print Friendly Version

Federal Wildlife Officer at Caddo Lake NWR Jason F. Roesner, along with Texas Game WardenTodd Long,  gave an educational program to over 750 Elementary Students in Longview, TX on May 8, 2013. The program consisted of water safety, hunting and fishing safety tips, along with educational requirements to obtain a job in Wildlife Law Enforcement. Students were awarding Jr. Manager Badges and pencils for answering questions correctly. The program was well received and the students were able to pass around items such as beaver pelt, deer antlers and duck wings. This was the first time many of the students had the opportunity to be exposed to wildlife specimen mounts.
