Winter Bird Day a great success at McNary National Wildlife Refuge

On Saturday, February 23, 2013 the Friends of Mid-Columbia River Wildlife Refuges hosted a bird mist netting demonstration, owl pellet dissection and a live bird program by Blue Mountain Wildlife. The Friends held their annual meeting and awarded two Lifetime Achievement Awards as well. The event was featured in an article published by the Tri-City Herald.
