Southwest Region, July 18, 2012
Print Friendly Version

Staff from Little River NWR conducted and educational program for the Broken Bow Library’s Summer Reading Program on July 18, 2012. The educational program focused on mammals and insects found within the Little River NWR. The children were able to touch the skin and skulls from many mammal species that occur on the refuge. The aquatic insects were a hit with everyone wanting to get their hands wet touching and holding the insects. Puddles made an appearance at the program and was also a big hit with the children.
