Columbia, Missouri, Ecological Services Reaches out with Dr. Suess

The Columbia, MO Ecological Services Field Office participated in a local elementary school's celebration of Dr. Suess' 106th birthday by reading "The Lorax" to students and facilitating a discussion on wise use of natural resources and enjoyment of the outdoors.

 

Other guest readers during the event included Columbia Fire Department Battalion Chief and Fire Marshal Steve Sapp, Mayor Bob McDavid, University of Missouri women's basketball team manager Alexandria Wendell and Columbia police Officer Kevin Purdy.
