Refuge staff constructed a kiosk at the trailhead for the Leslie Canyon Trail.  The kiosk has an interpretive panel that discusses the history of the area and the reason for the refuge being created.  Several of the more interesting species that call the refuge home are depicted on the panel.  Very little has been done to promote Leslie Canyon NWR in the past, but refuge staff are working a getting the public interested in the refuge and all it has to offer.
