Caddo Lake NWR and the Blue Goose Lead Marshall's First-ever Children's Mardi Gras Parade as Grand Marshal

Caddo Lake NWR, with the Blue Goose, led the Krewe of Ginocchio children's Mardi Gras parade as Grand Marshal. This event was the first child-oriented Mardi Gras that Marshall, TX has ever held. Over 150 children attended the event which held a parade, face-painting, live music, and education opportunities in conservation, fire prevention and public safety. Along with the Blue Goose, the Marshall Fire Department brought Sparky the Fire Dog and the Texas Forest Service brought Smokey Bear.
