Fish and Wildlife Service CNO Manager Testifies at Congressional Hearing on Delta Smelt

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service California and Nevada Operations Manager, Steve Thompson testified at a congressional field hearing held by the House Natural Resources Subcommittee on Water and Power in Vallejo Calif., July 2.  The topic of the hearing was "Extinction is not a Sustainable Water Policy:  The Bay-Delta Crisis and the Implications for California Water Management".   Steve Thompson's testimony can be viewed on the web at: http://www.fws.gov/cno/press/default.cfm   All of the witnesses testimony is available on the House Natural Resources website at http://resourcescommittee.house.gov/hearings/
