Avian Influenza/Feral HogStudy Begins on Laguna Atascosa NWR

Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute, Texas A&M University – Kingsville began conducting a study on the Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge during April.  The study, which focuses on the potential for avian influenza transmission in feral hogs, will involve trapping and removal of exotic feral hogs from the refuge.
