Print Friendly Version

As part of a settlement with a private individual who placed fill into navigable waters without a permit, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers coordinated an interagency wetlands permitting workshop.  Corpus Christi Field Office staff presented the Service's role in review of  Section 10 and 404 permit applications emphasizing Federally listed threatened and endangered species and migratory birds to the audience of approximately 75 coastal property owners, developers, business owners, and environmental activists.  Other presenters were the Corps, National Marine Fisheries Service, Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, and Texas General Land Office.
