Print Friendly Version
The New Mexico Ecological Services Field Office staff participated in the 16th annual Santa Fe National Forest's Kid's Fishing Day.  Over 150 children, ages 4-11 years, attended this year's event, which was held on Saturday, July 22, 2006, at the Seven Springs Fish Hatchery just north of Seven Springs, New Mexico.  Staff constructed a ring toss called, "Nuke the Non-natives" that highlighted the dangers of non-native species.  Our biologists also discussed the Service's mission along with New Mexico's threatened and endangered species and recovery programs.
