Mexican Wolf Blue Range Reintroduction Project 5-Year Review Available for Public Review

On March 16, 2006, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) announced the availability of the Mexican Wolf Blue Range Reintroduction Project 5-Year Review for a 30 day public comment period. The review for this endangered species, was conducted by the Mexican Wolf Adaptive Management Oversight Committee pursuant to the Final Rule which states that the Service will prepare full evaluations after three and five years that will recommend continuation, modification, or termination of the reintroduction effort. The Service will consider public review comments in making a decision.  The 30-day public comment period closes Friday, April 14, 2006.
