Wichita Mountains NWR REFUGE MANAGER RETIRES

Refuge manager Sam Waldstein retired after a four decade career with the USFWS. During his career he worked at many different refuges including Iroquois NWR, New York; Great Swamp NWR, New Jersey; Tamarack NWR and Upper Mississippi River NWR, Minnesota. Sam served as refuge manager at Sand Lake NWR, South Dakota; Tewaukon NWR, North Dakota; Montezuma NWR, New York; Litchfield Wetlands Management District, Minnesota; and the last eleven years of his career at the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, Oklahoma.
