Rio Grade Silvery Minnow Reintroduction Meeting Held

The Interdisciplinary Team working on the planning process for the proposal to establish a nonessential, experimental population of the Rio Grande silvery minnow in the Big Bend area of Texas met in Austin on June 28. The Team mainly worked on outreach materials in anticipation of public notice and scoping meetings to be held in west Texas in Austin. Participants included two other Federal agencies, four State agencies and two nongovernmental organizations.
