Mexican Grey Wolf Presentation at Santo Domingo Earth Day 2005, Santo Domingo Pueblo, New Mexico

On April 22, 2005, the Middle Rio Grande Coordinator and Endangered Species staff represented the Service at Santo Domingo Earth Day 2005, an event sponsored by the Santo Domingo Tribal Utilities Department. The Earth Day Celebration was held at the Community Center on Santo Domingo Tribal lands. Service staff presented a hands-on exhibit of the Mexican Grey Wolf and provided information on Service activities. Approximately 200 students and teachers from Santo Domingo Pueblo schools participated in the event as well as approximately 200 Pueblo members and general public. The Service's Middle Rio Grande Bosque Initiative was one of the supporters of this event.
