Southwest Region, April 12, 2005
Print Friendly Version
On April 12, 2005, Omar Bocanegra of the Arlington Field Office participated in an endangered species panel as part of a three day workshop in Kerr County for the Texas Cooperative Extension. Representatives from Environmental Defense and The Nature Conservancy of Texas also contributed to the panel. The workshop is part of a two year Natural Resources Leadership Course conducted by Texas A&M University for County Extension Agents across the state. In addition to endangered species conservation, the course includes sessions on ecosystem management and nature tourism that provide information for agents to better serve the private landowners in their counties.
