Web-based Field Trip on Invasive Species
10 Region, April 1, 2004
Print Friendly Version
Learn about one of the hottest topics around. Not fire, but invasive species. Geared toward 4-6th grade, the NWRS will be hosting a FREE electronic field trip, eFieldtrip, that your local schools can participate in. In this eFieldtrip students will learn about invasive species and why they are a menace. Scheduled to premier April 1, 2004, registration will open in March. The NWRS offers this program as a free educational outreach opportunity. The eFieldtrip has four components: a virtual visit, a trip journal, "Ask an Expert" where students can submit questions, and a live web-based chat. For information about this eFieldtrip adventure contact Deborah McCrensky at deborah_mccrensky@fws.gov. To learn more about eFieldtrips visit the website www.efieldtrips.org.
